Personality: When not working or hitting the books, Aiden is a chill guy. Whether with his pokemon or with people, he's always up for a good time. He doesn't like to get involved with other people troubles, but he will step in if things get out of hand and try to help.

When confronted, Aiden has more of a flight reaction rather than to fight. He would rather avoid confrontation all together. However, if he can't escape he will resort to brawling to defend himself, but he's not usually one to start something without a really good reason.

A big vice of Aidens is his smoking habit. Most people frown upon this dirty habit, especially his mother, but he refuses to quit. He finds it a good relief. He is most likely to light up during a difficult or bad day, or when he's thinking hard during his research. Aiden does realize that most people frown upon it so he does try and avoid smoking around other people the best he can.

Aiden absolutely loves prehistoric pokemon. He will usually get excited if people are talking about the subject and he likes to speak about his theories and discoveries. While his passion is in the extinct, he shares his interests with modern day pokemon as well. Especially breeds with more "prehistoric-like features" as he would put it. Growing up on a hobby farm and surrounded by pokemon only encouraged this interest.

He doesn't mind working hard and seeing the job through. He did grow up on a hobby farm, so he's used to both ranch and farm practices. As he grew he tried his hand with training pokemon, turns out he wasn't too bad at it. He can train the young animals so they can be harvested from with little fuss, and he can teach basic tricks like sit and stay.

Aiden is also naturally athletic. While he never had any interestin sports, he doesn't mind going out for a run or working out once in a while. However more often than not he will say his ranch chores or a visit to a mine was his excercise for the day.

History: Aiden had a pretty average growing up. His parents raised him as a single child on a hobby farm in a small town on the mainland. He went to school. He played with other kids. His best friend was even the girl next door.

As a kid Aiden was really passionate about prehistoric pokemon. He didn't care if it annoyed anyone, he was always spouting the latest facts he learned about the extinct pokemon. Even his favorite games centered around pretending to be prehistoric pokemon. His closest neighbor and best friend never seemed to get tired of his facts and games, at least not that he noticed.

Then came the fateful day when Aidens dad got a job in the city and they had to move. The city wasn't as much fun as his hometown. It was harder to make friends here as kids seemed to tease him more than befriend him. Especially in spring when his hair and eyes turned pink. It was during this time that Aiden became quieter. He didn't get depressed, just didn't interact with anyone much. He hoped they would leave him alone if he stayed away from them. It was also during grade school that he brought hime any stray or wild pokemon he could, begging his mom to let him keep it. He really missed being surrounded by pokemon.

High school wasn't much different. Aiden would spend his time in the library or hidden away with a book, usually researching his favorite topic.
After four long years of high school he managed to graduate as an average student in his class. After high school he went to college with an opportunity to study after his passion. He was especially interested in reviving fossils and one day hoped to be able to have prehistoric pokemon as pets.

During college Aiden had a steady girlfriend for a couple of years. They had a lot on common and shared many interests. One interest being studies. She was studying evolution and had a wealth of knowledge and theories about the connection between prehistoric pokemon and modern day pokemon. Their extensive talks not only fueld his love for the prehistorics, but also sparked an interest in modern day pokemon. His mind just clicked about how certain pokemon reminded him of certain aspects of prehistoric pokemon and brought back the nostalgia of the pokemon from his childhood. But sadly the two weren't meant to last.

One day during his last year a classmate showed him an article about a fossil lab opening up in the islands of Raccolto. From that moment Aiden knew where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do. He did his research and decided on a homely little ranch property so once he graduated college he and his meowth made the move to Raccolto.

He already knew that he wanted to try his hand at ranching. Not only would it keep him physically busy, but keeping moving helped him think. It would also give him the opportunity to observe pokemon that interested him. As an added bonus, having a ranch also gave him the land space for his final goal of reviving extinct pokemon. With that thought on his mind as he unpacked into his new home he couldn't help but smile nostalgicly as he pulled out an old photo of his best friend and him as little kids back in the day. He would have to write her, it's been a while, he wondered how she was doing.
