I've been having a bit of fun lately. I may be a little sore, but it's worth it.
Oh yeah, you're probably wondering what I'm talking about.... I'm finally learning to ride. I've loved horses all my life and given the opportunity I can half-assed pretend to ride, but now it's real. My sisters friend is teaching me balance by riding bare back (and tackless) while ~Candy-shop would like me to try First Year Rider western pleasure, and maybe even high point...on her stallion. It's gonna be so fun.

also, the funniest thing happened today. I went with Candy when she took her mom's foster kids to their visit with their parents, and we spent some time waiting for them to finish ("some time" meaning 3 hours).
Well the funny part happened when we picked one of the boys up from his parents house and his dad or grandpa looked into the car and said "who's that?"
"oh that's Amber, J's daughter" the kid told him.
"Oh." he turned to Candy. "Is that your husband?" he pointed to the person in the seat beside her.

we had a good laugh about that, because the person riding shotgun was me
